Our Culture

We work hard and have enjoyed great success and growth as a result. At a local level, heavily investing in our staff and providing access to the latest technologies is crucial in maintaining our technical excellence. Being an integral part of a global company allows us to make connections and collaborate with some of the most forward-thinking minds in the worldwide IT industry.

Established in 1997, we have grown steadily from the humble cohort of 25 we started with, to our 425-strong team today. Every day we are all encouraged to challenge ourselves, acting with integrity, exceeding expectations and most importantly – working together to be the greatest we can be.

However, we don’t take ourselves too seriously here at Liberty IT and we pride ourselves on working hard but also having a good time doing it.  At the heart of Liberty IT’s success is our people and so we make it our mission to ensure they enjoy coming to work and feel proud to be a part of our expanding team.

Well-being and work-life balance initiatives are high on our priority list.  Our people take advantage of flexible working, onsite gym (Belfast office), regular health checks and healthy breakfast mornings – to name just a few examples.

What’s more, you can ask anyone and we’ll all agree – teamwork is at the core of our workplace. Whether it be meeting project deadlines, submitting an idea to our Innovation Programme or simply deciding upon the choice of buns for a colleague’s birthday, communication and camaraderie are key.

Likewise, our monthly social committee outings are not to be missed. Events are varied in an attempt to suit all tastes and are a great way to get to know each other and foster camaraderie within our company. Recent events have included a trip to the play “One Man Two Guvnors”, a boat trip on the SS Nomadic, Eddie Irvine Go Karting, LUXE Day Spa and a weekend away to Carlingford.
